PRIOR to the second leg of their play-off semi-final, the Lion Cubs complete their regular league campaign at Armadale on Friday (7.30pm).
The meeting was put back to after the cut-off due to the need for the senior Lions team to race their play-off against Edinburgh a fortnight ago, but the Cubs still secured top spot in the table with a match to spare.
Victory on Friday will take them at least four points clear at the top at the end of the regular campaign, and it would be a third away win of the season.
However, despite the Devils currently being bottom of the table it is far from a foregone conclusion as the Scottish side pulled off a remarkable win over Belle Vue last week which had a major influence on deciding the play-off places.
The experience of Lee Complin has been of vital importance since he joined the club in mid-season, and the Devils also include 2019 Lion Cubs title winner Josh Embleton in their top five.
Meanwhile Cubs heat-leader Connor Coles had a senior spell with Edinburgh in 2019.
With Edinburgh due to leave Armadale at the end of the season, this could be the last-ever team meeting staged at the venue, although the club are investigating the possibility of extending their lease for another year after their plans to move to West Lothian Community Stadium fell through.
